Soul Journey – A Concerto for Wind Ensemble is a musical depiction of the spiritual journey of the soul.

It will be my first work originally conceived and written specifically for Wind Ensemble. (All of my existing and in-progress works for wind band were originally written for other ensembles.)

Soul Journey will be full of mystical symbolism, representing the spiritual journey every soul must take. It will be a single movement work between 10-15 minutes in length and structured in seven main sections…

Section 1: “Incarnation”
Section 2: “Meditation & Trance”
Section 3: “Astral Consciousness”
Section 4: “Dark Shadows”
Section 5: “Children of the Light”
Section 6: “Spiritual Warfare”
Section 7: “Ascension”

Soul Journey will test the musical prowess of every member of the ensemble, including the composer. My intention is to push the boundaries of my own compositional skills by creating my best work ever––a work I’d feel proud to carry the name of my publishing business.

**For statewide premier rights and exclusive performance rights for up to one year after completion in your state, the fee to join is just $750.

**For regional premier rights (following the regional breakdown of the College Band Directors National Association) and exclusive performance rights for up to one year after completion date in your region, the fee to join is just $1000.

This consortium is limited to just 7 ensembles worldwide. The projected completion date of Soul Journey is October 2010.
