I just watched Eric Whitacre’s “Virtual Choir”… and it’s the coolest thing I’ve ever seen. I’m more excited about this video than about Apple’s new iPad, and that’s saying something. (I want an iPad really, really bad.)
It’s hard to imagine the work that must have gone into mastering this video. But my mind is racing with possibilities: virtual jazz combos… chamber ensembles… brass bands… wind ensembles… concert bands… orchestras. This whole idea is just kick-ass.
It reminds me of the “We Are The World” Youtube Edition I watched a few weeks ago.
